NAKUA NA MAZINGIRA — Biodiversity Protection, Promoting Environmental Conservation and Community Development in Tanzania.
NAKUA NA MAZINGIRA (NNM) is an environmental organization established under the NGOs Act of 2001, Cap. 56 of the Laws of Tanzania and pursuant to the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania (1977).
The organization was registered by the Ministry of Community Development on 1 October 2025 with registration number 00NGO/R/8539 to operate nationally across Mainland Tanzania.
It was also registered by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) as a charitable organization with Tax Identification Number TIN 191-313-771 on 27 November 2025.
NAKUA NA MAZINGIRA ni Shirika la kutoa elimu kuhusu uhifadhi wa Viumbe hai na Mazingira kwa kutekeleza upandaji miti, usimamizi wa taka, matumizi ya nishati safi na kukabiliana na mabadiliko ya tabianchi nchini Tanzania.
Tunashirikiana na jamii, shule, vijana na wadau mbalimbali kuhamasisha utunzaji wa mazingira kwa maendeleo endelevu.

Kukusanya na kutoa mchango wa utunzaji wa mazingira. 7. Kuweka Taa za mionzi ya Jua (solar lighting system, 9. Kuzuia uchafuzi wa mazingira dhidi ya hewa chafu kotoka kwenye vyombo vya moto
We are working with Schools, Colleges, Institutions and universities to make sure its environments supports learning and working conditions. Nakua na Mazingira believes that an unprotected environment leads to diseases in communities and poor performance among students and workers. The organization will engage specialists to educate the public on environmental protection and conservation. This includes conducting seminars, planting trees for shade, fruit, and flowers, and empowering communities through workshops and training.
Due to challenges such as lack of water sources, extreme heat from deforestation, poor aesthetics, and unplanned construction, the organization will conduct research to address these issues. Many schools and institutions lack bodies responsible for environmental oversight. Nakua na Mazingira aims to fill this gap by raising awareness on tree planting, water resource protection, and environmental organization. Through these efforts, the organization seeks to build a healthier, safer, and greener community.
